Instructions
Mix & Rise: Combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add warm milk, egg, and melted butter. Mix until dough forms. Knead 5 minutes, then cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Shape & Fry: Roll out dough to ½-inch thickness. Cut into circles, let rest 15 minutes. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C), then fry each donut until golden brown—about 1–2 minutes per side.
Make the Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Pipe into a piping bag.
Prepare the Strawberries: Toss diced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice. Let sit 10–15 minutes until juicy.
