Adorable, tasty, and the best holiday party treat ever! Snowman cake pops are perfect for festive gatherings and fun to make with kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients to prepare it)
  • ½ cup frosting (vanilla or cream cheese)
  • White candy melts or white chocolate
  • Mini chocolate chips or melted chocolate (for eyes and mouth)
  • Orange candy or frosting (for the “carrot” nose)
  • Mini peanut butter cups or Rolos (for hats)
  • Chocolate wafers or melted chocolate (hat brim)
  • Sprinkles or shredded coconut (for snow detail)
  • Lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Prepare cake as directed, then cool and crumble it into fine pieces. Mix in frosting until it forms a thick dough.
  2. Roll dough into 1½-inch balls and place on a baking sheet. Chill in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  3. Melt candy melts and dip each cake pop, tapping off excess. Let dry upright.
  4. Use mini chocolate chips or melted chocolate for eyes and mouths, orange frosting for noses, and attach peanut butter cups on chocolate wafer ‘hats’.
  5. Add coconut flakes or sugar sprinkles on the hat for that frosty touch. Let set completely before serving.

Notes

  • Chill the cake pops before dipping for best results.
  • Use a styrofoam block or cake pop stand to hold pops upright while drying.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
