A delicious dessert-for-breakfast treat combining French toast with classic s’mores flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 slices thick brioche or Texas toast
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 4 graham crackers, crushed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Chocolate syrup or hot fudge (for drizzle)
  • Optional: whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Make the French Toast Batter: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar.
  2. Dip and Toast the Bread: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Dip each bread slice in the egg mixture, coating both sides. Cook until golden brown and crisp.
  3. Build the S’mores Stack: On a slice of warm French toast, layer mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and crushed graham crackers. Stack another toast slice on top.
  4. Torch or Toast the Marshmallows: Use a kitchen torch to lightly toast the marshmallows (or broil the stack in the oven for 1–2 mins).
  5. Top It Off: Drizzle with chocolate syrup or hot fudge, add extra mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, and sprinkle more crushed grahams.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bread for best results.
  • Broil if you don’t have a kitchen torch.
  • Serve immediately for the gooey texture.
