A cheesy garlic bread lasagna skillet that combines the best of lasagna and garlic bread in one easy dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 large loaf garlic bread, sliced thick
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add ground beef or sausage. Cook until browned.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thick.
  3. Arrange garlic bread slices around and slightly under the meat mixture in the skillet. Spoon ricotta over the top.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan generously over everything. Cover and cook until melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and let it rest before serving.

Notes

  • Use homemade marinara for richer flavor.
  • Let the skillet rest for a few minutes before serving for easier slicing.
