  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (or homemade dough)
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: pinch of salt for balance
  • Powdered sugar for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Filling: Mix softened cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Roll & Fill: Unroll crescent dough and pinch seams together. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the surface.
  3. Cinnamon Sugar Sprinkle: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle generously over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Roll Up & Slice: Gently roll the dough into a log, slice into 1 to 1.5 inch rolls. Place into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake & Drizzle: Brush the tops with melted butter, then bake at 350Β°F (175Β°C) for 18–22 minutes, until golden and bubbling. Optional: dust with powdered sugar.
