  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (plus extra for topping)
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
  • Chocolate or caramel sauce (optional drizzle)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Fold in the flour, baking soda, salt, chocolate chips, and crushed Oreos.
  4. Press the dough into a greased oven-safe skillet, top with extra Oreo chunks, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 18–22 minutes.
  5. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and optional chocolate or caramel drizzle.
