  • 1 ½ cups crushed Oreo cookies (no filling)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp orange juice (fresh!)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Orange slices (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine Oreo crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into a springform pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in orange juice, zest, sour cream, and vanilla.
  3. Pour filling over the crust. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45–50 minutes or until center is set but slightly jiggly. Let it cool completely, then refrigerate at least 4 hours.
  4. Heat heavy cream until warm, pour over chocolate chips, and stir until smooth. Pour ganache over chilled cheesecake.
  5. Top with whipped cream, orange slices, and shaved chocolate.

Notes

  • Use fresh orange juice for the best flavor.
  • Let the cheesecake cool completely before adding ganache.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours for the perfect texture.
