A delicious dessert combining fudgy brownies, creamy cheesecake, and tart cherry swirls.

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients on box – usually eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 tsp espresso powder (optional, for richer chocolate flavor)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling (with whole cherries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare the brownie mix as directed on the box, stir in espresso powder, and pour 2/3 of the batter into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie base. Spoon cherry pie filling over the cheesecake layer and swirl slightly with a knife.
  4. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the top in spoonfuls, then gently spread.
  5. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Espresso powder enhances chocolate flavor but is optional.
  • Let the bars cool completely for cleaner slices.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
