1 lb breakfast sausage (crumbled and browned)
6 large eggs
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups frozen hash browns (thawed)
1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread thawed hash browns evenly in the bottom of the dish.
In a skillet, cook the crumbled sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat and layer the sausage over the hash browns.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and hash browns in the baking dish.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.
Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden and bubbly.
Let the casserole cool slightly before slicing. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve warm.
