A sweet and spicy appetizer featuring creamy Boursin cheese, crunchy pistachios, and hot honey on toasted baguette slices. Perfect for parties and easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 12 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs recommended)
  • ½ cup roasted pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional for freshness)
  • 23 tbsp hot honey (or regular honey + red pepper flakes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Brush baguette slices with olive oil and bake for 6–8 minutes until crisp and golden.
  2. Once toasts are cool, spread each slice generously with Boursin cheese.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped pistachios and parsley.
  4. Drizzle with hot honey.
  5. Arrange on a platter and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Use regular honey with a pinch of red pepper flakes if hot honey is unavailable.
  • Best served fresh but can be assembled up to 2 hours ahead.
  • For extra crunch, toast pistachios lightly before chopping.
