Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup peeled, diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • Oil spray for waffle iron
  • Powdered sugar or vanilla glaze (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add the Wet Ingredients: Stir in milk, egg, vanilla, and melted butter until just combined.
  3. Fold in Apples: Gently fold in the diced apples.

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less glaze.
  • Best served warm for maximum crispiness.
